SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER ELECTRICAL

Job Description:

To prepare electrical drawings, calculations and catalogues for clients or consultants for approval.

To assist procurement Section in selecting materials and equipment to be used.

To ensure material and equipment comply with the delivery schedule.

To approve shop drawings by subcontractors and re -design the drawings according to site conditions.

To develop optimum concepts and designs to meet project delivery goals using new cost-effective technology application.

To manage overall technical risk and issues, including potential design conflicts.

To assist CBD team in tender preparations.

To visit project sites as and when required.

Requirement:

Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

Experience in designing TNB substation or Transmission & Distribution projects.

Innovative in finding functional ways that meet client wants and needs.

Able to develop new ideas and modify existing systems or processes to make them more efficient.

Strong attention to detail and analytical minded.

Good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design.
